Prominent journalist Hopewell Chin’ono has revealed that he was in support of Emmerson Mnangaga and the millitary with the view that they are better than Mugabe.

In an interview on SABC, Hopewell said Mnangagwa’s government assisted by the millitary have failed the people of Zimbabwe.

Chinono said people jumped out of the pan into fire during the coup. Poverty, inflation have doubled from the day Mugabe was removed up to now.

Hopewell criticised the new government for failing to make changes to the repressive laws put in place by the Mugabe regime and also stop the looting of public funds.
