FORMER president of Botswana, Ian Khama has won a court case against Director General of the Directorate on Intelligence and Security.

Botswana Government’s Directorate of Intelligence and Security had attempted to arrest former president Ian Khama.

Khama had to flee to South Africa following failed attempts of arrest by DIS.

The Directorate of Intelligence and Security (DIS) had filed an application to the court as they sought to arrest Khama.

The DIS had filed an application while Khama’s attorneys were clueless about the happenings surrounding the application.

Khama’s lawyers said they are yet to have anything concrete regarding the application, except that they heard it was scheduled for Sunday.

“We have nothing as of now, we have been trying to get information but to no avail. We cannot even access the file because we are given stories, even the judge is not taking our calls. We know nothing even the time of hearing, we are clueless,” said the lawyers.
