Chippa United striker Rodney Ramagalela got the shock of his life when he received calls in the early hours of Tuesday morning to inform him that his house caught fire and was burning.

Ramagalela’s eight-room house with a double garage burned down around 04:30am in Mamvuka, Limpopo.

The Chippa United striker’s house was fortunately empty when it caught fire in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

Ramagalela joined the Chilli Boys in August 2021 following the relegation of former club Black Leopards.

Rodney confirmed the incident to South Africa’s publication, Kickoff.

“Yes, yes it’s true, but right now I’m still dealing with the incident, so I will talk to you later,” Ramagalela said.
