Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Aminata Diallo has been released by police following her arrest on Wednesday.
PSG released a statement confirming that Diallo was taken into custody on Wednesday morning by the Versailles Regional Police Service “as part of the proceedings opened following an attack on the club’s players last Thursday evening”.
The club’s statement released on Thursday said: “Paris St Germain take note of Aminata Diallo’s release after police custody.
Diallo had went out with her teammate who was later attacked using Iron bar. Diallo was arrested the following day on the accusations that she had paid the thugs to attack her teammate who happens to play the same position with her.
