The President of the Republic of Zambia His Excellency Hakainde Hichilema is set to employ more than 11 000 health practitioners to  deal with Covid-19.

 

The President took to social media to update the citizens of Zambia.

“Our country’s health and our wealth are connected. A healthy population is better placed to grow our economy. This is why we’re employing an additional 11,200 healthcare workers, to fight the COVID-19 pandemic, improve the health of our families and raise the standard of healthcare in every community.

As you’ve seen today, we’ll be working with cooperating partners like Germany to improve access to nutritious food, and clean water,” he posted.

 

Hichilema has been trying by all means to help the people of Zambia.

 

He has met several head of states to build good relations that will benefit his country economically.
