Massive crowds turned out on Thursday at the Robert Mugabe International Airport to welcome Emmerson Mnangagwa from a COP 26 Summit in Glasgow, United Kingdom.
Mangagwa was welcomed at the Airport by VP Chiwenga, Kembo Mohadi, Oppah Muchinguri, cabinet ministers and senior government officials.
Mnangagwa, upon landing at the Airport, confessed that he was pleasantly surprised that such a big crowd of compatriots had assembled a welcome party for him at the airport.
He scored rare successes as he managed to personally engage with such world leaders as Mr Joseph Biden of the United States of America and the Queen of England as well as the British Prime Minister Mr Boris Johnson.
