Vogue Italy has picked rising Zimbabwe Hip-hop artist Tinashe Gakaka popurlarly known as Suhn’s twenties song as one of the best songs released in 2021.
Twenties is a song detailing Zim Hip-Hop rising star Suhn’s plans to take over the world and bring a Grammy Award to Zimbabwe by 2023.
Few months down the line, what the song predicted is unfolding as it was selected by Vogue Italia as one of the best new songs for 2021.
“Basically Twenties talks about the goals I want to achieve in the coming years, and what my future plans are. I had been making beats all day and created this bass line: I didn’t have a project for this track in the beginning, so I started throwing some ideas around.” says Suhn in an interview with Vogue Italia.
