Gift Ostallos Says Nelson Chamisa’s Assassination Attempt Was Not Faked

MDC A National deputy spokesperson Gift Ostallos Siziba has dismissed allegations that the bullet holes on Nelson Chamisa’s convoy were faked.

In an interview on Zimbabwe.com, Siziba said there was a clear attempt to assinate Chamisa as the bullet went directly to where the party’s president was sitting.

Siziba said Mnangagwa and his regime inherited political violence from Ian Douglas Smith during the colonial era.

Chamisa escaped an assassination attempt, as he was taken to safety after his convoy was allegedly shot at in Mutare last month.

His MDC Alliance party has blamed “Zanu PF thugs” for the attack, which comes after a similar incident happened in Masvingo last.

Ostallos said the assination attempt on Chamisa in Mutare was not an act to draw the United Nation attention but it was a ZANU PF project to eliminate Chamisa.
