The President of Movement for Democratic Change (MDC-T), Douglas Sean Mwonzora has been accused of calling for the postponement of by-elections.
Mwonzora’s associate alleges that Mwonzora is in talks with people at the Justice Ministry to ban by-elections and to scrap the 2023 general election.
In a video circulating on social media, the associate said Mwonzora is on a mission to share power with the ruling party Zanu-PF.
“The MDC-T was formed to challenge Zanu-PF not share power with it. It is concerning and alarming that Mwonzora is talking with his friends at the Justice Ministry to postpone the 2023 general elections and by-elections,” the associate said.
