MDC-T President, Douglas Mwonzora has met with the United Nations Special Rapporteur Professor Alena Douhan.
Posting on Facebook, MDC-T said;
‘Today, President Douglas Mwonzora and his team met the United Nations Special Rapporteur Prof Alena Douhan and her team.
“The MDC-T gave its detailed input into the effects of sanctions on ordinary Zimbabweans.”
Other opposition members and civil society have not yet met with the rapporteur.
Douhan is on a 10-day mission to assess and evaluate the adverse effects of sanctions before preparing recommendations and guidelines on means to mitigate or eliminate them.
