Botswana President Mokgweetsi Masisi is launching the Lobatse water masterplan project aimed at addressing water shortage in areas along Gaborone-Lobatse corridor.

The project is expected to be completed in 12 months at a cost of over P1billion.

Posting on social media, Masisi said he is delighted to be unveiling yet another milestone project that we committed to deliver.

“Indeed my Government is determined to ensure that every Motswana has access to clean water. Infrastructural development which is also part of the promises we made requires adequate water for it to be delivered.

He said next on the government agenda is the ground breaking of the construction of the Gamonoyane-Molepolole Water pipeline next month.
