The Simon Mazorodze School of Medical and Health Sciences is expected to attract specialists to come and set up practice in Masvingo, in the process, eliminating the high costs of travelling for specialist care in other places.
The unique point of the Simon Mazorodze School of Medical and Health Sciences lies in its combining conventional and traditional medicines, thus making its knowledge spectrum very broad and original.
The School of Medical and Health Sciences will be equipped with state-of- the-art equipment, supported by a Department of pharmaceutical studies that will enable students to manufacture medicines.
