Apostolic Faith Mission in Zimbabwe Glaudina Assembly had their church service disrupted as members physically fought for the premises.
The Chiangwa-led faction was reported to have invaded the church premises and clashed with the Madawo-led faction, which claims ownership of the premises as granted by the courts.
The battle to control AFM came out in the open in 2018 and has played out in the public for the past three years.
It resulted in the emergence of two rival camps, one led by Reverend Amon Dubie Madawo and the other by Rev Chiangwa who was the church’s former deputy president.
Police attended the scene and dispersed the other faction leaving resident Pastor Kunaka to conduct the service.
