Chamisa to get Amoured Vehicle for 2023 Elections

Militant members of Chamisa ‘s MDC Alliance have started raising funds to buy him an amoured vehicle ahead of the 2023 Zimbabwe elections.

In one of the secret messages seen on Facebook,  supporters called for each member to donate $50 towards the purchase of an armoured 2022 model Landcruiser which costs around USD 120 000 in South Africa.

The move to purchase the amoured vehicle comes after Chamisa and other MDC Alliance officials were attacked in Masvingo by allegedly Zanu-PF supporters.

Chamisa blamed the attack on the ruling party Zanu-PF.

However, Zanu-PF officials said they did not send any of their supporters to attack Chamisa.

Ugandan opposition leader, Bobby Wine, had a similar amoured car ahead of the 2020 Presidential elections.
