ZANU PF’s secretary for adminstration Dr Obert Mpofu is celebrating his 70th birthday today.
Posting on twitter, Mpofu said: “Another year added. God has been so mind to me”
Mpofu is a famous Politician, who was born on October 12, 1951 in Zimbabwe. Mpofu, previously the Governor of Matabeleland North Province, was appointed as Minister of Industry and International Trade in mid-April 2005, following the March 2005 parliamentary election.
It is believed that Mpofu was one of the earliest ZPRA guerillas to be trained for the Zimbabwean Liberation War way back in the 1960s.
Obert Mpofu is one of the richest Politician & listed on most popular Politician, with a networth of approximately $1.5 Million.
Fellow Zimbabweans also sent their birthday wishes on twitter.
The ZANU PF youth league said: “Happy birthday to you Cde. We’ll keep learning good things from you as we wish you many more wonderful years to come full of wisdom, prosperity & realisation of people centred development our party so much pushes for”.
