Former Deputy Minister of Finance Terence Mukupe has mocked the Warriors national team for playing losing matches for the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers.
Posting on twitter, Mukupe compared Zimbabwe national team to Manchester United which feilds aging players only good on paper.
“Zimbabwe National soccer team is slowly becoming just like Manchester United… … aging players who are only good on paper..”
Ghana beat Zimbabwe 3-1 at the Cape Coast Stadium on Saturday.
Mukupe added that the likes of Washington Arubi (36), Kangwa (33), Kutsanzira (31), Kamusoko (33) , Knowledge Musona (31), and Khama Billiat (31) are no longer fit for football.
“Arubi 36 years, Kangwa 33yrs, Kutsanzira 31 yrs, Kamusoko 33 yrs, Musona 31, Billiat 31 kana ndimiwo … extremely loud fans!!! Marwadzo ega ega… YNWA!!!”, he wrote.
