Vimbai Musvaburi Quits Politics

Politician and media personality Vimbainashe Musvaburi has officially quit politics to focus more on her children.

In a recent Facebook post, Vimbai announced the news and posted pictures of all her colleagues as she said her goodbyes and appreciated them.

In the Facebook post she wrote:

“I respect everyone who is pushing these coming elections. I miss standing up for the people of Zimbabwe, but I chose to raise my children for now, then join when they are fully grown. All activists or politicians aiming to fix Zimbabwe will testify that its a great sacrifice that they take. They lack their children and families never have enough when their in the struggle. Everyday I want to come back but my 10 year old needs me for now. My 17 year old needs me as well still. Headbowed to you all guys.”

Vimbai was based in South Africa for 2 years and landed an award ceremony project before working for Vth Season, for a year.

After her experience in South Africa she decided to produce her own talk show called 10 minutes with Vimbai. She also started a women’s network called Intombie Young Women in Business.
