National Hero Cde Wereki Sandinayi has been laid to rest today on the 2nd of October.
Cde Wereki died on the 25th of September at Mt Darwin District Hospital.
His Chimurenga name was Philimon Gabela and he went to Zambia to join the liberation struggle in 1973.
After independence he became a political instructor at National Youth Service at Border Gezi in Mt Darwin.
