Congolese born Pastor, William Emeka (48), was yesterday sentenced to 37 years in prison on 19 counts of rape involving 5 members of his God is Love Ministries in Bronkhorstspruit, South Africa.
In all cases, which happened between 2015 and 2018, Emeka would smear his victims with anointed oil before he raped them. One of the women fell pregnant, but she was not sure who was the father of the child, Emeka or her husband.
The matter came to light after the victims reported the ra_pes to another pastor at the church, who helped them to report to the police. Emeka was arrested in 2018 and has been behind bars since, after he was denied bail.
