New Zambian President, Hakainde Hichilema, has been criticized for appointing a huge cabinet made up of only 5 women out of over 30 Ministers.

Hichilema announced his new cabinet yesterday after long delays while he consulted widely in a bid to achieve tribal balance.

Hichilema introduced three new ministries, namely:

– Ministry of Technology and Science

– Ministry of small and medium enterprises

– Ministry of green economy and environment
