Botswana President, Mokgweetsi Masisi, has been condemned by citizens for his heavy handed arrest of popular cleric, Rev Thuso Tiego.
Following the arrest of Rev Tiego, police arrested more pastors who arrived to enquire at the police station.
First to be arrested was prophetess Hannah, who will also spend the night in police cells.
Other pastors were later arrested and will also spend the night in police cells.
Among those beaten were journalists and supporters.
