Zimbabwe as a country has the ambition to be the logistics hub of the region however because of less infrastructural development it has been harder to achieve that goal.

Most of Zimbabwes roads are damaged and riddled with potholes such that it makes it hard for haulage trucks and normal cars to travel around the country.

Other countries thrive because they are funded by foreign loans from time to time however Zimbabwe does not have that option right now.

Therefore, Zimbabwe has to source funds locally to repare roads for instance when the government put aside funds to repare the Beitbridge Chirundu Highway for easier travel beyond borders.
