The President of Botswana, Mokgweetsi Masisi has suspended the assistant Minister of Health and Wellness, Honourable Sethomo Lelatisitswe from his ministerial duties.
Sethomo was suspended for one month by the President.
The suspension follows the recent violation of the COVID-19 Health restrictions by the assistant Minister.
Masisi went on to urge the nation to continue adhering to the health protocols and restrictions in order to help win the fight against COVID-19.
