Nomthandazo Sithole speaks on how she got a job at the Tony Blair Institute

WATCH as Nomthandazo Sithole speaks with Mariana Forbes YouTube Channel about how she ended up working as an expat at the Tony Blair Institute in Sierra Leon.

Nomthandazo says she landed her current job through contacts and word of mouth. She says her move from her home country of Liberia was initially on a short contract basis.

Nomthandazo advised job seekers to look widely as there are a lot of opportunities in Africa, as long as one is willing to put in the work and be teachable.

Nomthandazo revealed that she grew up in Zimbabwe, before moving to South Africa where she completed her degree.

She then moved to Liberia, where her mother was born and worked in various roles.
