Self-proclaimed Zambian prophet, Ian Genesis has strongly refuted claims that he wants to annoint president elect, Hakainde Hichilema.
Prophet Ian Genesis rubbished the claims after multiple reports had published that he wanted to annoint the president elect, Hakainde Hichilema during his inauguration.
Below is the statement:
As Charisma Ministries International,we understand that some members of the UPND have declared our Prophet their enemy numbers 1. We wish to distance ourselves and Prophet Ian Genesis from what has been published by most social media news platforms in Zambia, that our Prophet wishes to anoint the President elect or the stadium. We wish to state, that the information is false.
Many threats have been issued against our Man of God,through our Facebook and ministry office line. We wish to advise journalists to employ professionalism in their reporting, as they are putting the physical life and that of the family of prophet at high risk by Provoking the public against him.
We also wish to sound a warning to all those, who see it fit to continue threatening our Prophet. If anything physically happens to him,we will use some messages like this below as evidence against you.
Prophet Ian Genesis was recently in hot soup after he prophesied that President Edgar Lungu will win the presidential elections.
The prophecy did not come true as opposition leader Hakainde Hichilema defeated incumbent leader Edgar Lungu.
Thousands took to social media to criticise Prophet Ian Genesis with some labeling him a false prophet.
