The President of the Republic of Botswana, Mokgweetsi Masisi has congratulated the 4x400m relay team for winning a Gold medal at the World Under 20 Athletics Championships.
The men 4x400m relay team won gold in Nairobi, Kenya with record time of 3:05.22.
The team was made up of the following ,Busang Collen Kebinatshipi, Anthony Pesela, Oreeditse Masede and Phenyo Bongani Majama.
Masisi took to social media to congratulate the relay team.
“Congratulations to our 4x400m relay team for winning a Gold medal at the World Under 20 Athletics Championships in Kenya. Le re tlhatswitse dipelo basimane baetsho,” he posted.
Earlier this month, Mokgweetsi Masisi rewarded the relay team that snatched bronze medal during the Tokyo Olympics with 2 roomed houses.
