The President of Zimbabwe His Excellency Emmerson Mnangagwa has arrived in Lusaka, Zambia ahead of the inauguration of Zambia’s president elect, Hakainde Hichilema.
The Inauguration Ceremony will be held on 24th August 2021 at the Heroes Stadium in Lusaka.
His Excellency Mr. Hichilema, Leader of the United Party for National Development (UPND), was elected as the seventh (7th) President of Zambia following the country’s 2021 General Elections which took place on 12th August 2021.
Meanwhile, opposition leader, Nelson Chamisa has also arrived safely in Zambia.
The ceremony will also be attended by His Excellency President Mokgweetsi Masisi of Botswana.
