The President of the Republic of Botswana, Mokgweetsi Masisi has congratulated Botswana young sprinter Letsile Tebogo for his performance during World Athletics U20 in Nairobi, Kenya.

Letsile snatched gold medal after finishing on 1st position with a time of 10:19 in the men 100m Final.

Masisi took to social media to congratulate the young athlete.

 

“I have not had a chance to watch the ongoing World Athletics U20 Championships in Nairobi, 🇰🇪Kenya. I have, however, received messages & watched videos of our rising star, Letsile Tebogo.

A big Congratulations to him for winning the Gold Medal 🏅 in 100m today.

The nation is very proud of you my boy & you are definitely destined for great success. Your future in world athletics looks bright,” posted Masisi.

Few weeks ago, Masisi rewarded a relay team with 2 roomed houses for snatching bronze medal in the Tokyo Olympics.
