Popular Zimbabwean rapper, Kikky Baddazz (Christabell Stembeni Mahlungwa) has today slammed Madam Boss (Tyra Chikocho), following her comments about the late child bride, Memory Machaya.

Memory died while giving birth at a Marange church shrine on July 15.

Machaya was denied medical help and her death was concealed from the authorities.

Worse, Memory was forced out of school while doing Form One to get married to Evans Momberume, a full-grown man.

Thousands reacted angrily to the issue, with many calling for the arrears of Momberume.

However, in a video snippet that has been shared widely on social media, Madam Boss is heard saying woman who wants to protest about the issue should go ahead and go to Marange and do so – yet nothing will come of it.

Kikky Badass has responded to comments by Madam Boss.

“This is very disappointing and disturbing to hear such words come out of a public figure’s mouth. So you are folding hands and not taking this serious because haasi mwana wake? Why? We are supposed to protect these young girls, they must have their basic rights met,” she posted on Instagram.
