South Africa’s former President Jacob Zuma is set to remain in hospital.

Zuma successfully undergone surgery and will stay in hospital for further procedures.

“Mr. Zuma underwent a surgical procedure on Saturday, 14 August 2021, with other procedures scheduled for the coming days,” the correctional services department announced in a statement, saying it could not predict a discharge date yet.

Msholozi was taken to hospital on 6th August.

Zuma was admitted few days before his much anticipated arms deal trial.

The court case was postponed after medical records revealed that the former president was not fit enough.
