Zuma Arms Deal Case Postponed to 9 September

The arms deal trial against former president Jacob Zuma and the Thales Group has been postponed to 9 September.

Zuma remains in hospital for medical observation.

According to multiple sources his legal representatives must submit his medical records by 20 August.

However, the State may appoint its own doctor to examine Zuma’s fitness to stand trial.

Zuma is currently serving a 15-month jail term for refusing to comply with an order to appear at the State Capture Inquiry.
