Armed Robber Escapes From South Africa to Zimbabwe

The South African National Defence Force says an unidentified thug escaped from Tshamutumbu Village heading to Zimbabwe.

According to a statement by SANDF, the members of SANDF based in Madimbo Operational Base were busy with their routine foot patrol when they came across a deserted house.

“When our soldiers approached the house, a male figure came out of the house running towards the border between South Africa and Zimbabwe,” said SANDF in a statement.

However, after the thug escaped the SANDF managed to recover 2 x Winchester 12 GA shot guns with one having its serial number filed off. The second shot gun’s serial number was used by the SA police Service to track its origin and it was discovered that it was stolen by the owner, Dantes Explosives Limited who opened a case at Florida Police Station.
