Zimbabwe’s largest seed company, Seed Co has given an ultimatum to its all staff members.
In a statement released by the company, all staff members have until 01 August 2021 to get vaccinated.
With effect from 01 August the company will send all unvaccinated employees on leave and will also request to see Covid-19 vaccination certificates or negative PCR certificates taken within 24 hours at the cost of unvaccinated employees as and when they come to the factory.
The decision to get all its employees vaccinated comes after the company was commended for showing leadership in being among the first to be vaccinated.
The decision also comes after the company approved the purchase of 10 000 doses of Covid-19 vaccines for staff and key stakeholders.
