South African giants Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed the signing of Keagan Dolly and Cole Alexander on free transfers ahead of the 2021/22 season.

The former Mamelodi Sundowns player underwent his medical on Tuesday and has officially completed his move to Chiefs after leaving French Ligue 1 outfit Montpellier at the end of last season.

The 28-year-old returns to the PSL after spending the past four-and-a-half years in France, during which he managed a total of 64 appearances, scoring just one goal and registering three assists.


Amakhosi have also welcomed former Bidvest Wits and Polokwane City midfielder Cole Alexander to the club.

The 32-year-old joins after leaving Indian Super League side Odisha FC.

Both players have penned three-year contracts that will keep them in Naturena until the end of the 2024/25 season.

The club has also confirmed that Dolly will don the number 10 jersey when he joins the team’s training at The Village on Thursday, while Alexander has opted for the number 17 shirt and has already reported for duty.

Kaizer Chiefs is strengthening its squad ahead of the 2021-22 season after they were humiliated by Pitso Mosimane’s Ahly Ally.
