ZANU PF Finance Secretary and Acting Political Commissar, Patrick Chinamasa has been hospitalised following a horrific car accident.
According to multiple reports, the former minister of finance was involved in an accident just after Rusape on Saturday after he allegedly rammed into a truck carrying scrap metal.
Chinamasa, however, did not incur any serious injury but was reportedly complaining of chest pains.
He was taken to Rusape Hospital but was transferred to a private hospital in Harare.
ZANU PF Manicaland provincial chairman Mike Madiro was among party officials who rushed to see Chinamasa after the accident.
