The President of Botswana who is also the Chairperson of the SADC Organ on Politics, Defence and Security, Mokgweetsi Masisi says SADC will  urgently despatch a second mission to Eswatini.

In a statement released yesterday, Masisi also revealed that the first mission was to gather first-hand information on the disturbances, including the state of security in the Kingdom of Eswatini.

He further confirmed that the first mission held consultations with the government of Eswatini.

The mission also made attempts to meet with a broad spectrum of other stakeholders across the Eswatini nation.

However, the ministers failed to reach many stakeholders of Eswatini due to the fact that the mission was of short notice.

For the past few days, protesters have been destroying and burning property in the Kingdom.

Hundreds have been crossing to South Africa in order to buy basics as the situation is worsening each passing day in Eswatini.
