The Zimbabwe government has announced stricter Lockdown restrictions, following the surge in new infections and deaths due to COVID-19.
Speaking during a press conference, Home Affairs minister, Kazembe Kazembe, said the following restrictions will now apply:
1. A curfew will be in place between 6:30 pm and 6:00 am, except for essential services.
2. Businesses will open only between 8:am and 3.30pm
3. Public gatherings are banned except for funerals, which are limited to 30.
4. Weddings are banned.
5. Night clubs and beer outlets are banned.
6. Inter city travel is banned.
