Zimbabwean hip hop star, Desmond Tambawoga Chideme who is popularly known by his stage name as “Stunner” has advised Ti Gonzi and other hip hop artists to stick to music and stay away from hate speech.

Stunner took to social media to advise the upcoming artists not to copy the american style of singing.

“Well it was fun when @enzoishall was doing his “hip hop” thing and @holytenmusic replying and all but when strong words start coming from respected members like @tigonzi towards comic pastor @r.peels on the other end…… we have to remind ourselves to draw the line somewhere and say “hey this is not the kind of people we are” . Yes hip hop has its culture and anyone can decide they want to start rapping just as dancehall. This is a decision that comes from the heart you can’t stop anyone from expressing his self but let’s remember to keep it musical . Haisi America ino and most of you rappers I’m sorry to say this but muchaionera pa tv chete and what comes on TV is just acting and selling products. Our fans believe the words we say and one day umwe achasimudza dombo akatema umwe (hamuna pfuti) Muri Vapfanha Vechidiki Vane Twunhu Twavo so please act like it. Times are hard , let’s make money , friends and shine on the haters (that is the hip hop I know) . Comic pastor is a comedian and he can sing a sungura song next week and he will lose nothing so let’s laugh / enjoy the song and move on from it (wait for his next joke) . That’s all. THIS IS ENTERTAINMENT, let’s not forget that. In any case , ever since ya’ll decided to call yourselves kings……ndopatave apa. Tipei mangoma tinakirwe chete . *side note* @maskiri ndakanakirwa ne mbinga from bhinga. #vVvtt

As always when all has been said and done…..Kuna Stunner Ndokwatinoenda,” he posted.

The advise by Stunner comes after Ti Gonzi slammed the Comic Pastor.

The Comic Pastor recently released a song titled “Hip hop Haina Mambo” and in this song, the comedian dissed hip hop artists including Ti Gonzi who quickly responded.
