POPULAR rapper, Maskiri, born Alishias Musimbe, has once again come under the spotlight over his controversial lyrics following the release of his latest track, ‘Mbinga from Binga’.
In the new offering, Maskiri at 0:10 seconds sings, “handina musoro kunge Tapiwa Makore” a reference to the slain Murewa boy whose death made headlines the past year.
Maskiri might have been long gone but his presence was felt when he reminded everyone who he really is on the new song Mbinga from Binga .
Many fans however bashed him for being insensitive towards others on the metaphor where he says ,”Handina musoro saTapiwa makore”.
Fans asked Maskiri to revise his song writting and issue an apology to the family of makore.
He then apologised to his fans saying the line he included Tapiwa makore was a metaphor.
