Zimbabwe-born Springboks legend Tendai “Beast” Mtawarira has braced for a new adventure, this time in the world of business as he ventures into entrepreneurship.

The Beast, who retired from rugby, is now a full time entrepreneur.

Tendai is a  CEO and shareholder of a newly-formed South African company — Umlindi Security — a subsidiary of Fidelity Services Group, one of Southern Africa’s largest integrated security firms.

Narrating his journey as an entrepreneur in an interview with I Am An Entrepreneur, he said got into entrepreneurship because he believe in taking risks in life.

” I believe as an individual If you have an idea, you must bring that into life and one of the ways to do that is to start a business.

He appreciated people who helped him to set up and teach him about business especially Wahl Bartmann, group CEO of Fidelity Services Group.

He urged new entrepreneurs to be innovative and bring out new ideas.
