The current MP for Harare West Costituency, Joana Mamombe is ready to fight for democracy in Zimbabwe despite that she was jailed for more than a month.

Joana Mamombe is a member of MDC Alliance and she was recently released from remand in prison.

The 27-year old is not just a politician, she is also a bio-technologist who is ready to help in the health sector.

In May, Mamombe and youth leader Cecilia Chimbiri were released in Chikurubi prison after they spent two months behind bars.

The duo had been arrested for violating Covid-19 regulations after Mamombe
held a press conference during the lockdown in March this year.

Last year Mamombe, Cecilia Chimbiri and Netsai Marova were abducted and tortured by unknown assailants before dumped in a bush, 80 kilometers North of Harare.

In an interview with eNCA, Mamombe says she is back to work to build development for Zimbabwe and Harare West Costituency.
