The President of Zimbabwe Emmerson Mnangagwa handed over music instruments to Andy Muridzo and Chief Hwenje at State House on Thursday.

Andy Muridzo and Chief Hwenje were finding it hard to perfom without own instruments.

The President of Zimbabwe further revealed good news to Zimbabwean artists who were finding difficult to make money since the outbreak of coronavirus.

Mnangagwa gave greenlight for artists to start perfoming live shows.

Since the outbreak of coronavirus in Zimbabwe, lockdown regulations did not permit artists to perfom live and breaking such a regulation resulted in imprisonment.

Chillispot records trio, Dhama, DJ Fantan and Levels were arrested earlier this year after they hosted an all night gig in Mbare.

More than 50 attendants were also arrested for attending the event
