The President of Movement for Democratic Change (MDC T) Douglas Mwonzora is celebrating his 53th birthday today.
The MDC-T leader was born on 11 June 1968 in Nyanga.
Mwonzora became a member or parliament for Nyanga North as from 2008 to 2013.
Mwonzora also became the spokesman for MDC as from 2011 to 2014.
In 2018 he became senator for Manicaland Province.
Mwonzora will be a presidential candidate for the much anticipated 2023 elections where he will face his former colleague Nelson Chamisa who is also the leader for Movement for Democratic Change (MDC Alliance)
Mwonzora has been heavily criticized by the Chamisa followers as they believe that he is a Zanu-PF puppet.
