Sungura legend Alick Macheso, popularly known as “Baba Sharo” celebrated his 53th birthday with kids today.
A video circulating on social media shows Macheso emotional as the kids were singing a birthday song for him.
The “Sarah” hit maker is popularly known for celebrating his birthday on stage perfoming.
However, due to the coronavirus pandemic he had to cancel his two gigs in South Africa after President Cyril Ramaphosa tightened Covid-19 regulations.
For decades, his songs, most, that have turned out to be big hits that include Petunia, Madube, Sarah among others have been making the crowd dance as if they were released yesterday.
