Tino Kadewere cements relations with Harare City Council after the local authorities promised to avail land for the construction of an academy.

 

France based Former Harare City Striker, Tino Kadewere’s have always wanted to set up an academy, it is close to become a reality after the City council promised to avail land for the construction of an academy.

 

Kadewere won the Chibuku Super Cup with Harare City before moving to Europe and has come up with a solid plan to take youths off the streets.

 

“My hope is to have this academy that will help the youths and take them off the streets, it is going to include both sport and academics, we are going to start with football but we will include other sports,” said Kadewere.

 

The City Council is hoping for more partnerships of this nature.

The Acting Mayor of Harare, Councillor Stewart Mutizwa said:

“We are happy and the councilors are committed to helping Tino realise his dream, we are going to avail the land and there is a committee tasked to do that and we are hoping for more partnerships that aid in the development of the lives in the city”.
