Ernest Teke the CIO popularly known for his role in exposing Roman Catholic Archbishop Pius Ncube has committed suicide.
According to multiple reports Tekere hanged himself today at his offices in Bulawayo.
Ernest Tekere was currently running a security company which operates in different cities.This successful attempt to commit suicide comes after two failed attempts.
However, reasons of why Tekere committed suicide are not yet known.
The former CIO released Pius Ncube’s bedroom videos after he was hired by Mr Sibanda to check on his wife.
However, many people suspected that Tekere was hired by President Mugabe to plant the cameras as Pius always criticized the then president.
This claim was further backed by the headlines of the state owned papers including the Herald which splashed its front page with the pictures and gave detailed accounts of scenes from the video.
