Former Warriors Captain Peter Ndlovu, popularly known by football fans as “Nsukuzonke” has shown interest in leading All People’s Party in the runup to Zimbabwe’s 2023 elections.

The interim leader of the party, Sebastian Mubvumbi revealed the news in an interview as he also pointed out that all party supporters are behind Ndlovu to lead the party.

Sebastian also revealed that he has held at least two meetings with Peter and the two discussed possibilities of him becoming the next Zimbabwean President.

“I held meetings with him in South Africa. I used to fly to South Africa and we talked about this and he was agreeable. He said go and make the right arrangements and when the right time comes I’m at your disposal,” added Sebastian.

Peter Ndlovu will battle Emmerson Mnangagwa, Nelson Chamisa, Douglas Mwonzora among others in the much anticipated 2023 elections.

Meanwhile, new names are keen to join politics with the latest being Susan Mutami who is fighting to dethrone the father of his unborn twins Temba Mliswa.
