Two grade one pupils from Nyanga who were murdered on Tuesday last week on their way home from Mbaza Primary School were buried yesterday after a series of drama.
The Tilder Live show revealed that the delay of the funeral was because the elders had to follow their traditional beliefs before the kids were buried.
Dylan’s father was called during the show to give an update on the burial arrangements then he revealed that the elders had to take both coffins to the murder scene for traditional purposes but the parents of the deceased were not allowed to go.
After taking the coffins to the murder scene, the Benza family was now refusing to burry the kids before the postmoterm results were out but all this was solved and Dylan’s father confirmed that they were about to burry the kids.
Melissa and Dylan Benza were both aged seven from Sambaza Village and their bodies were found dumped in a toilet with deep cuts on their necks.
Two suspects for the murder were arrested.
