A helicopter thought to belong to the Air Force of Zimbabwe has crashed and burnt at a house on Gardner Road in Ruwa just east of Harare close to Ariel Primary School on Tarisa Road, killing at least two people.
“About an hour ago an Airforce helicopter crashed just near my house. Everyone in the Jumbo was burnt beyond recognition, in fact there are no remains of victims. Unfortunately, it crashed straight into a house, killing one child and seriously injuring another,” a source said told News Hawks.
In a video circulatingon social media a man is heard saying there are no signs of bones in the scene.
