Ambassador Christopher Mutsvangwa has revealed that global fund managers now see Zimbabwe as the next best investment opportunity in Africa.
Speaking at an independence dinner in Johannesburg, Mutsvangwa said he was returning from a visit to Cape Town where he attended meetings with the fund managers together with Finance Minister, Mthuli Ncube and officials from the Zimbabwe Stock Exchange.
Mutsvangwa said the Zimbabwe delegation met with fund managers from Investec, coronation and Allan Gray, among others.
He also revealed that Zimbabwe President ED Mnangagwa will soon be launching a steel mine.
Mutsvangwa also revealed that the lithium project in Zimbabwe has discovered vast deposits that are now being actively mined.
